After thirty years of teaching, 16 of which as a headmistress/teacher in France, I was posted to Gabon to head an elementary school.

Now, here I am in Egypt, land of builders, to help shape your child's future.

The curriculum at the Lycée International Balzac is the French curriculum, taught by French-speaking teachers.

The Asem assisting the teachers also speak French.

Students are therefore totally immersed in the language, which helps them to assimilate it better.

Kindergarten is a school where we develop the essential tool for all communication: language. Its main mission is to inspire children to go to school to learn, develop and assert their personalities.

The kindergarten curriculum organizes teaching into five areas of learning:

  • Mobilize language in all its dimensions
  • Acting, expressing oneself, understanding through physical activity
  • Acting, expressing oneself, understanding through artistic activities
  • Building the first tools for structuring thought
  • Explore the world

The Lycée International Balzac deploys a wide range of resources to achieve these objectives.

Several speakers in the classroom:

  1. Motor skills,
  2. In BCD, called Marmothèque
  3. Visual arts,
  4. French as a foreign language

Adapted premises to diversify activities:

  1. Specific room for Visual Arts,
  2. Special premises for the Marmothèque
  3. Motor room, sports field, dojo, swimming pool...

The small number of employees and all these facilities make it possible to work in small groups, which facilitates communication and differentiated learning.

The variety of activities on offer,

A variety of outings,

Multi-level educational projects

Actions carried out within the school and with other establishments

All this contributes to making the Lycée Balzac a great place to grow and learn.
